Soulful Living for a Beautiful Mind

When unexpected events land right in front of you, beside you, behind you and there is nowhere to hide, how do you respond?

Sudden events show up in many people’s lives such as being made redundant, divorce, incurable diseases, death of a loved one and so forth. Pretty grim scenes, but these are real events happening all around us in the world each day. 

Advances in digital media means that we read, hear and see horrific tragedies unfold in real time 24 hours a day 365 days of the year.

Before you check your social media updates or listen to the news, think about what you are just about to feed your mind with! Consuming daily bad news reports may only serve to feed a fear of the future which creates room for anxiety, worry to step in and dwell.

When we are in anxiety and fear, we tend to think of the worst outcomes in a way that becomes overwhelming and immobilising. So how can you guard yourself so that your mind is not consumed by such events?

Cultivate a Beautiful Mindset!

  1. Think on what is true - not what could happen or might happen
  2. There are unknowns – deepen your faith in God and trust Him to guide you forward
  3. Aim to have high standards for what you read, watch and listen to
  4. Seek calmness and peace in a storm through prayer and meditation
  5. See opportunities to solve the impossible, look for solutions, ask for help and guidance along the way
  6. Thank God more than you ask of Him
  7. God is full of grace. Embrace it!

Become Resilient!

One of the most beautiful things about living a soulful life is that it has no sell by date. You can be mindful 24/7 about what you choose to focus on and build your resilience to help you weather life’s storms.

So if you’re thinking about quitting the course, why not choose to stick around to experience the many benefits. When you choose to live a soulful life you will develop a beautiful mind. You will receive supernatural power to deal with surprises and overcome life’s struggles for success and happiness.

Helen Keller was physically blind, however she saw that a suffering soul can, in their current condition be inspired to successfully rise above their suffering.

I believe God wants you to have a beautiful mind, one that is filled with peace and calmness, even amongst life’s stormy events.

  • You are in control of what you focus on and allow into your mind
  • Aim for high standards for what you read, watch and listen to
  • Make a conscious decision to move beyond your feelings of anxiety, worry and fear, by developing a beautiful mindset
